Diving cruise to the best spots of the central atolls of the Maldives

Finally, the news that many of you were waiting for! It's official, we're going to the Maldives!

We know that this year has been very strange and even difficult, and that is why we have worked three times harder to bring forward this experience that will help us disconnect and relax a little, enjoying what we like most, diving, in a paradise like the Maldives, and of course safely.

Last year we went to the Red Sea and most of our “crew” is going again this year, and this is truly an adventure we look forward to all year long.

If you don't want to miss the opportunity to join us on this conscious divers' journey, keep reading, we have everything planned.

The plan

Dive, dive and dive aboard the Emperor Voyager, touring the best diving spots in the Maldives, with food, drink and accommodation included on board so you only have to worry about drying off and warming up for the next dive, charging your camera for the wonders that await you and enjoying sailing through this paradise.

Requirements

Since it is a diving trip, it is essential to have at least an Open Water Diver qualification, although we recommend it for divers with a minimum Advanced Open Water Diver qualification, or who have at least the Nitrox and Deep Diving specialties, since otherwise you may miss part of the dives or have to do them with a bottom time or depth limit.

If you want to come but you are an Open Water Diver, all is not lost! We have a special offer for you on the Advanced Open Water Diver course and almost three months to complete it, you have no excuse!

The Cruise

The Emperor Voyager is one of the most luxurious boats in the Emperor fleet, measuring 30 metres in length, in the tourist category, very comfortable and with years of experience in diving operations in the area. It has capacity for 20 divers, distributed in 10 double cabins.

It has a lounge, separate al fresco dining room and solarium. All cabins have independent air conditioning and private bathroom. Water, tea and coffee are included.

As is usual in the Maldives, diving operations are carried out from an additional Dhoni. 12 and 15 litre tanks are available (with an extra charge); technical diving and rebreather assistance are available upon request.

Diving in MaldivesThe destiny

The Maldives is possibly the most unique country on the planet, made up of some 1,200 islands spread over 868 km in the waters of the Indian Ocean. These coral atolls emerge from the depths and create a truly idyllic landscape, with small islands covered in vegetation, white sand beaches and surrounded by turquoise waters.

With an inexhaustible variety of reefs, more than 700 species of fish and a long list of invertebrates, the Maldives is considered one of the leading international diving destinations and a reference point for most European divers.

One of the attractions of the Maldives are the pelagic species and without a doubt the most anticipated are the whale shark and the manta rays.

But the Maldives offers much more to divers, as on its reefs it is possible to enjoy encounters with large schools of longfin sharks and surgeonfish, dive alongside peaceful sea eagles or marble rays and explore the famous channels patrolled by reef sharks. An exciting itinerary that will satisfy the most demanding divers.
