What led us to offer you this opportunity and how did we make it possible?

Since last year, the situation due to the pandemic has caused most divers to stop their activity “abruptly”, and although there were times when it seemed that the world had also stopped, we never saw it that way.

We thought that if everything stopped, We had to move with more force so that our work of conservation and protection of the marine environment through diving could continue, which you all already know as Conscious Diving.

Well, how to do it if you couldn't go into the water? Well, by focusing on one of the pillars of Conscious Diving, which is theoretical preparation with quality information as a previous step to get into the water.

We develop Many theoretical courses onlineWe also train ourselves to offer you higher quality services and we prepare new projects that we are already carrying out this year and others that we will launch soon.

Furthermore, when we had already found a way to continue working during the “new normal”, it coincided that SSI, the diving certification body we work with, and which we chose a year ago for its commitment to the education of divers and the marine environment, had also decided to continue along the same line and gave us the opportunity to be able to offer Certified training completely free of charge to our students.

SSI's educational and environmental commitment is what convinced us from the beginning to choose them as the diving certification company for our center, but the support they have given us, especially in these times, has been essential to be able to continue training our students and make it possible for them to remain connected in some way with their beloved Azul.

We started the 2020 campaign with the Diving Science program, then the Blue Oceans program was launched (still active) and this 2021 we have offered until March, the SSI Marine Ecology program, all courses, completely free of charge!

In order to be a conscious diver, it is essential to know the marine environment where we love to be. Understanding how ecosystems work, the behavior of species and how they relate to each other, gives us the opportunity to enjoy diving and minimize the impact of our presence in the sea.

In order to obtain your certification we need you to complete and sign your training file or “Training record”

If you live in Gran Canaria, it's as easy as paying us a visit, and we'll arrange it straight away. As long as you're taking the plunge, you can even take advantage of the opportunity to go for a dive! Remember, though, that you need to book an appointment in advance.

If we catch you a little far away, it's not a problem either, send us an email through the web, with your name and surname indicating that you have completed the Marine Ecology course and we will tell you how to proceed.

Due to the huge number of students enrolled, it has been impossible for us to hold a live webinar to answer questions about the course, but we remain entirely at your disposal to do so individually.
