At Buceo Norte we strive every day to improve the quality of our diving and freediving experiences and training, and that is why we are proud to share these awards in recognition of our work that SSI has given us. Without a doubt, these recognitions are also part of each and every one of the people who have passed through our diving center, helping us to grow every year.
Last March we attended the first edition of the Sumérgete event, held at X-Madrid by SSI and Mares, which brought together more than 40 diving and freediving centers from Spain and Portugal. At this event, in addition to participating in different talks, training and activities, we received the following: SSI AWARDS:
Dive
- Professional diving certifications issued in Spain in 2022: 5th place
Apnea
- Freediving certifications issued in Spain in 2022: 4th place
- Freediving certifications issued in Spain in 2022: 3rd place
These recognitions are not a coincidence, since last year 2022 we became the first SSI center in Gran Canaria to be able to train diving instructors, so we have expanded our professional training offer in recreational diving, being able to train from diving guides to Open Water Diver instructors and various specialties throughout the year.
In recent years, we have also been trying to bring freediving to all audiences, which is why we have received the aforementioned recognitions. In this line we also bring news, since in addition to implementing the level 1 freediving course this 2023, we will have the possibility of training basic level freediving instructors. This will give us the capacity to train new professionals within recreational freediving, which is in full expansion.
Once again, many thanks to all the people who have made these awards received by SSI possible, without you it would not be possible. For us, it is one more reason to continue working as a team for what we are passionate about, the excellence and quality of our training and our underwater experiences.
