Why you should take a “Stress & Rescue + React Right” recreational diving rescue course

Because you will learn 5 powers that will make you a better diver.

1 – Self-control

You will be able to maintain control and calm in any situation that may arise within the safety limits of recreational diving.

You will learn to handle yourself with ease in all possible situations that may occur during a dive, both in and out of the water.

At Buceo Norte we will teach you to master self-help techniques so that you will be able to react correctly to anything that happens to you during a dive.

2 – Anticipation

Let's be clear, a diver who never has accidents is safer than a diver who has experience of several accidents.

The only way to avoid accidents is to anticipate.

Luckily, there are always a series of “alarms” that precede any accident, and in this course we will teach you how to identify them before they become worse.

Case study:

At the beginning of the dive, your partner has serious problems descending due to an obvious lack of ballast, but he manages to feel comfortable when he reaches a depth of 10 meters and continues with the dive to 30 meters, the maximum planned depth.

At what point during the dive is there a chance that the dive will end in an accident?

The answer is very simple, at the end of the dive when the diver is more saturated with nitrogen and with much less air in the bottle.

Because?

As the tank empties, it will be very difficult for you to maintain neutral buoyancy.

Consequence?

Possibility of Decompression Sickness “DCS” due to uncontrolled, faster ascent rate with high nitrogen saturation.

Solution?

Once the problem has been detected, go to the surface and add the necessary ballast to achieve adequate buoyancy.

In order for you to be able to anticipate situations like this, and many more, we will train you to be able to identify them in advance. You will achieve this through various simulations that we at Buceo Norte have prepared for you.

3 – Help

What good would it do us to detect a problem if we are not able to help our colleague? Very little.

For this reason, we are going to teach you how to act in each of the situations that may occur during a dive within the limits of recreational diving.

We will simulate the possible “alarms” prior to the accident and We will teach you how to act correctly.

Thanks to your ability to help your partner, you will be able to prevent stressful situations that could lead to an accident.

4 – Act

If you have good self-control, know how to identify the previous “alarms” and master the aid techniques, it is unlikely that you will be involved in a recreational diving accident.

Still, we will train you so that you can act efficiently if you need to.

At Buceo Norte we have prepared a multitude of scenarios both on the surface and underwater so that you can master different techniques and act efficiently in a multitude of hypothetical accidents.

5 – Enjoy

Diving is possibly one of the most relaxing activities there is.

To achieve total relaxation, the diver must have control of the situation so that nothing stresses him or “takes him out” of his moment.

Thanks to this course that we have prepared at Buceo Norte, you will be able to have everything under control and with it you will be able to increase your ability to enjoy all the dives that you have left to do.
